Yoursafe Businesses may use Yoursafe ID at no charge. Business use Yoursafe ID by integrating the Yoursafe ID button on their website. This Yoursafe ID button is linked to Yoursafe’s authentication system.
Upon authentication of the User, and depending on the type of Yoursafe Business, the AccountID and certain attributes are provided to the Yoursafe Business.
These attributes provided are called claims. Examples of a claim are the country of residence of the User, or the claim if he or she is 18+.
A scope is a collection of claims. Yoursafe has defined three different scopes:
Within this scope the claims cannot be traced to an individual. With other words: these claims are considered non-personal information.
As Yoursafe Businesses can integrate and use Yoursafe ID at no charge, the default scope will always be returned upon a positive authentication of the User.
The AccountID is always included as one of the claims within the default scope. Businesses may publicly query by using the AccountID (by HTTP, HTTPS or DNS) to continuously verify for any changes in relation to the users identification compliance, the users country, sanction screening and/or PEP screening.
Upon misuse of fraudulent action of a User, Businesses may distribute the AccountID to the relevant authorities, financial institutions and law enforcement agencies. They are able – upon proving reasoning and their own identification – to obtain additional personal information from Yoursafe, all within the wft, wwft and sw laws of the Netherlands.
Please refer to the detailed definition of the default scope.
Within this scope the claims are non-personal, but will include the alias and/or IBAN that the User would like to use.
This alias refers to a verified social media account, and such User may expose him/herself with certain information from which personal data could be obtained.
Platform Scopes are only available to Merchants of Yoursafe, or one of their partners. Platform Scope claims are only provided with an extra consent of the User.
